1967 Mercedes 300 SEL 4-Speed Manual for $0 Build Credit, Poor Credit, Bad Credit, Good Credit OK OAC

For Sale: 1967 Mercedes 300 SEL – A Rare Classic
It’s been a joy owning this rare and truly unique classic. However, it’s time to let it go instead of sitting in my shop. I’d much rather sell it and allow someone else to enjoy riding it. The reason for selling? I have too many cars.
Details About the Car
I’ve owned this car since March 2020. It comes with a clean California title in hand and is currently registered.
I purchased this vehicle from a gentleman whose dad passed away, and it had been in storage for many years.
Specifications
- Engine: 3.5L Inline 6
- Miles: 25,749 km
Condition of the Car
The car is in excellent condition for its age. While it is not a new car and does have some dings and scratches typical of older vehicles, it has been well cared for. The car was repainted by the previous owner and seems to be in its original color. The paint is shiny, and there are no rust issues or extensive bondo repairs.

Since taking ownership, the car has undergone extensive repairs and services at a Mercedes Restoration Specialist Shop in Santa Paula, CA. The total repair cost exceeds $39,000, with over $60,000 invested into the car overall.

Cons
There are a few cons to be aware of: the AC unit is not installed, although I have the parts, and the heater and fan are also not operational. I mainly drive the car on nice sunny days, so I haven’t felt the need to fix these issues.
Performance
This classic car runs really strong, and the engine sounds great. There are no strange noises or smoke on a cold start. It starts right up, even after sitting for an extended period.
Pricing and Availability
I am asking $50,000 or best offer. Absolutely no trades. The likelihood of finding a gem like this is slim to none. I guarantee you won’t find another one like it anytime soon – especially one in this condition with a manual transmission and appealing color combination.
Contact Information
