1998 GMC Safari RWD for Sale

Selling my trusty 1998 GMC Safari RWD

As I’m heading back to Germany, this beauty will be available from July 19th. The car can be viewed and test-driven earlier in Squamish or Whistler.

Price: 5500 CAD or the equivalent in EUR. Price is negotiable (obo).

This van is fantastic for two people or alone; my girlfriend and I traveled in it for four months and I alone for three. Covered around 20,000 kilometers without any problems. It always starts, and everything works reliably from -10°C to +40°C. The past two owners used it as a camper as well, so most of the kilometers are highway driven. It’s ready to take you on some amazing adventures!

The only cons are: the AC isn’t working (all parts for it are included but haven’t been fixed yet), there’s some cosmetic damage, and the front wheel bearing will need adjustment in the future. The van has been kept in a temperature-controlled garage over the winter, so no salt damage from winter roads. All the inside was rebuilt one year ago, like the bed, floor, roof, lights, roof vent, etc.

Key Features:

  • Foldable full-size bed with lots of storage underneath
  • Pillows and blanket with sheets
  • Roof box
  • Solar panel with Jackery to charge everything you need
  • Dimmable LED lights
  • Roof vent
  • Window covers for all windows
  • 5% tint on the back windows
  • Complete kitchen setup
  • Two water tanks
  • Complete oil change set
  • Kicker speaker + Sony Bluetooth radio

Regular maintenance: Oil changes have been done regularly, with the last one on July 4th, along with a transmission fluid change. The tires still have a decent amount of life left.

About the vehicle:

  • GMC Safari Passenger RWD
  • Strong 4.3L engine
  • 190 hp

Recent Repairs:

  • Fuel Filter
  • Fuel Pump
  • Real wheel shaft
  • Front shocks
  • Back Shocks
  • Idler Arms
  • Starter
  • Steering adjustment
