1957 GMC 9300 model with the big back wrap around rear window. This is a west coast truck which I believe originally came out of the invermere/cranbrook area of BC. There are over $17,000. in receipts over the years with various upgrades and modifications. This truck has a 1972 Pontiac firebird front clip which gives it the power steering and disc brakes. A Pontiac 400 ram air engine was installed together with an automatic transmission. Both run very smooth with nice acceleration and crisp shifts. An electronic ignition/new spark plugs and wires were also installed together with an Edelbrock carb with an electric chock.
The rad has been upgraded to an aluminum 3 core with an automatic fan for cooling. The truck runs and idles at 190 in hot weather,
The rear end is from a 1968 chevy nove. I am not sure of the gear ratio but feels like a 3.10 limited slip.
