Selling My Jeep Wrangler JK X

I Am Selling My Jeep Wrangler JK X

This has been the most fun vehicle I have ever owned and it has never let me down. I’ve never beat on it, but I have taken it on forest service roads for camping and fishing. The paint is not perfect, there are some scratches and one scratch through the clear coat, but hey it’s a jeep thing (and adds character). Tires have lots of life left in them and are Wrangler Duratracs and are mountain snow flake rated. It has absolutely dominated the snow that we’ve had over the last few years, I’ve never been stuck driving through snow drifts.

Vehicle Condition

No rips in the seats, no holes in the frame, and all oil changes have been done around 5000 km. $6000 of work has been done this year on things like ball joints, brakes, bushings, radiator, etc. I have receipts for all the work done while I’ve owned it. The only work left to be done is a crack in the windshield in front of the passenger.

Modifications

Suspension and engine are stock. Modifications include headlights, roof rack rated for 800 lbs static weight, rear scene lights, Rubicon rock sliders, hood latches, and a stubby antenna.

Features

The X model has manual locks, manual windows, and no AC. The lack of AC has never been a big issue thanks to the removable roof. The engine has always pulled strong and is reliable for your upcoming adventures.

I have sadly decided to sell my Jeep Wrangler JK X. This has been the most fun vehicle I have ever owned and it has never let me down. I’ve never beat on it, but I have taken it on forest service roads for camping and fishing. That said, the paint is not perfect, there are some scratches and one scratch through the clear coat, but hey it’s a jeep thing (and adds character). Tires have lots of life left in them and are wrangler duratracs and are mountain snow flake rated. It has absolutely dominated the snow that we’ve had over the last few years, I’ve never been stuck driving through snow drifts (much to the dismay of those behind me that have tried to follow).

No rips in the seats, no holes in the frame and all oil changes have been done around 5000 km. I’ve had all the service done, with $6000 of work done this year on things like ball joints, brakes, bushings, radiator etc./ (things that won’t need to be done again for a while) and I have receipts for ALL the work done while I’ve owned it in addition to the pre purchase inspection that the previous owner did before I bought it. The only work left to be done is a crack in the windshield in front of the passenger, which is approximately $200 under insurance or $250 out of pocket according to the speedy glass website.

Suspension and engine are stock. Things that I’ve modified have been the headlights, the roof rack which is rated for 800 lbs static weight (hello roof top tent), rear scene lights, Rubicon rock sliders, hood latches (good bye hood flutter), and a stubby antenna.

It is the X model which means manual locks, manual windows, and no AC but that means soooo much less to break. The lack of AC has never been a big issue except during our hottest days, thanks to the removable roof, and it’s a jeep, of course you’re going to remove the roof.

The engine has never let me down and despite what some say about the 3.8L being under powered it has always pulled strong, and lets face it you’re not buying it for the drag strip.

Your new jeep still has plenty of life left for your upcoming adventures!

Please send me any questions you have I’m happy to answer, and I’m open to offers, the worst I can say is no.
