This well-maintained car has been cared for meticulously by its owner, ensuring that it not only runs smoothly but also offers superior gas mileage, low maintenance, and an overall fantastic driving experience.
Meticulous Maintenance Records
One of the standout features of this Honda Civic is its maintenance history. The car owner has diligently changed the oil and filter every 4,000 miles, a practice that significantly contributes to the longevity and performance of the vehicle. In addition, the following maintenance has been performed within the last 1,000 miles:
- Bled and replaced brake fluid
- Flushed and replaced coolant
- Replaced engine and both cabin air filters
- Replaced windshield wipers
- Replaced windshield washer system fluid lines and nozzles
All original owner’s manuals and a Carfax report are conveniently stored in the glove compartment, and the trunk is equipped with a spare tire and roadside tools. Multiple keys and a remote are also included with the purchase.
Exceptional Fuel Economy
One of the most appealing features of this Honda Civic Hybrid is its fuel efficiency. It boasts an impressive gas mileage of 40 miles per gallon in the city and an astonishing 43 miles per gallon on the highway. This level of efficiency makes it an economical choice for anyone who commutes frequently or simply wants to reduce their fuel expenses.
Low Mileage Advantage
This car has been driven an average of only 8,157 miles per year, which is relatively low for its age. Lower mileage often translates to less wear and tear, making this vehicle a great option if you’re looking for longevity and reliability.
Hybrid Battery Replacement
The hybrid charging battery was replaced by the original owners a few years ago, ensuring that the car operates at optimal levels and provides the efficiency you expect from a hybrid vehicle. Rest assured, all necessary updates have been completed, positioning this car as a dependable choice.
Certification and Registration
For your peace of mind, this Honda Civic passed its smog certification in March 2024, ensuring that it meets all regulations and requirements for emissions. Furthermore, the registration for the vehicle is valid through the end of May 2025, which adds another layer of convenience for its new owner.
Things to Know About the Car
Front Left Bumper Damage
While this car is in fantastic shape overall, it is worth noting that there is minor damage to the front left bumper. This occurred due to a scrape against landscaping while parking in a narrow driveway. Photos are available for review.
Unique Handling Characteristics
This vehicle features an automatic transmission that operates uniquely, especially around 15 mph, where it handles almost like a manual transmission. This distinctive driving experience has been noted by the original owner and subsequently by the current owner, who sought advice from a Honda transmission specialist. After a thorough inspection, no faults were found, suggesting that this handling characteristic may be a hallmark of early hybrid models.
Reason for Selling the Car
The reason for putting this reliable Honda Civic up for sale is simple: a need for a larger full-size vehicle due to changing personal circumstances. Until a short time ago, the owner had no intention of letting go of this exceptional car.

Things You Should Know About This Car:
Front Left Bumper Damage: Our driveway is narrow, and once I scraped against our landscaping when pulling in (see photo).
Handles Uniquely: This car has an automatic transmission, but at around 15mph it handles almost like a manual. The original owner had this experience and so have I as long as I’ve owned the car. Why I’m Selling This Car: My wife realized recently she needs a larger full-size car for work, so we’re swapping this car for hers. Up until a few weeks ago, I had no intention of selling this very reliable and cost-effective car.
