Selling My Automatic 2010 Subaru Impreza: A Reliable Companion

As I prepare to leave the country, I find myself needing to sell my beloved 2010 Subaru Impreza. For the past 1.5 years, this car has been more than just a mode of transportation; it has been a reliable companion, perfect for both city driving and longer excursions. With its impressive features and well-maintained condition, it’s an ideal choice for anyone looking for a dependable small car.

Car Details

I have been the third owner of this vehicle, and it has always been meticulously serviced. It is currently in excellent condition, running perfectly with just under 208,000 kilometers on the clock. While it does have a rebuild title due to cosmetics from a rear-ending in 2021, I assure you that the car’s mechanical integrity is uncompromised.

The Good

  • Well-Maintained: The car has been taken care of by all previous owners with regular service documented in paperwork.
  • Winter-Ready: Originally from Winnipeg, it comes equipped with both regular and studded winter tires, making it the best small car for navigating through snow thanks to its all-wheel-drive (AWD) capabilities.
  • Major Repairs Completed: The previous owner replaced the timing belt and head gasket at 160,000 km. Additionally, I had the catalytic converter changed at 200,000 km. These repairs often total around $5,000, ensuring peace of mind with recent investments in its maintenance.
  • Comfort Features: The car includes heated front seats, an electric sunroof, and a spacious rear compartment that offers extra space when the seats are folded down. Additionally, the interior is clean and well-maintained.
  • Diagnostic Tool Included: It comes with a diagnostic tool that allows you to check engine performance and diagnose minor issues, providing added confidence in your purchase.

The Slightly Bad

  • Cosmetic damage is visible on the left side, as shown in the photos.
  • The lock button on the keys has stopped working recently, which may be an inexpensive fix for the new owner.

Why Choose the Subaru Impreza?

The Subaru Impreza is well-regarded for its reliability and performance, making it a popular choice among drivers who value safety and comfort. This vehicle is particularly notable for its:

  • All-Wheel Drive (AWD): Essential for those snowy days or uncertain weather conditions, providing confidence and control on the road.
  • Fuel Efficiency: It balances power and efficiency, allowing you to save on gas whether you’re commuting in the city or taking a longer trip.
  • Space and Versatility: The hatchback style offers ample cargo space, perfect for transporting luggage, groceries, or any gear needed for adventures.
