1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR For Sale
The time has come that I am regrettably listing my 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR for sale. I do not need to sell it, but I would like the space in my garage for other things.
Vehicle History
This car is a two-owner vehicle, with myself being the second owner. The original owner, a gentleman from Japan, maintained it in immaculate condition from 1995 until 2010. When I imported the car from Japan to Canada, I worked with Brave Auto International, a known exporter of high-grade cars. This vehicle was well-cared for and would have received a high grade if it had been auctioned. When I acquired it, the odometer read 67,XXX original kilometers.
Storage and Maintenance
From 2010 to 2011, I enjoyed driving the car during the summer months, placing it into my garage for winter. By the fall of 2011, as life progressed, I decided to put the car into heated storage after it registered 86,XXX km. Since then, it has remained in a heated, dry garage, where I ensure it is maintained correctly by taking it for a spin twice a year with fresh fuel.
Condition of the Car
The vehicle remains 99% stock, retaining original components down to the intake and exhaust system. The primary non-factory parts are the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel and an aftermarket plug-and-play LED headlight kit.
Exterior and Interior Detailing
The exterior has undergone an extensive detailing process, requiring about 35-40 hours of work, including a full paint correction. The finish is almost flawless, with minimal touch-ups on small stone chips, mostly on the side skirts and a minor repair on the front lip.
The interior has also seen detailed attention, with roughly 25-30 hours invested in a comprehensive cleaning that included seat removal. The inside is near perfect, with minor wear on the driver’s seat bolster and the shift knob, which may require refurbishment depending on your preferences.
What Makes This Car Special?
In summary, this 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR is one of the cleanest examples of early Evo models in existence today. An ideal scenario for any potential buyer would be to preserve its original state and condition, perhaps even placing it in a museum or undertaking a respectful build that honors its heritage.
If your intent is to treat this car unkindly—using it as a track vehicle, daily driver, or otherwise neglecting it—there are cheaper, lower-grade Evos available on the market that may better suit those purposes.
Viewing and Test Drive
Viewings of the car will be available only on non-rainy days since I do not take it out when the weather is inclement. For a test drive, potential buyers would need to purchase a temporary permit. Should you wish to drive the car yourself, be prepared with cash in hand and ready to make an offer.
Photos and Videos
I have a total of 42 pictures of the car; however, this platform only allows for a limited upload. If you’d like to view more images, feel free to reach out. Additionally, here are links to exterior and interior videos:

The time has come that I am regrettably listing my 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR for sale. I do not need to sell it but I would like the space in my garage for other things.
The car is a two owner car since new with me being the second owner. From 1995 until 2010, the vehicle was owned by a gentleman in Japan and garage kept its whole life. In 2010, I imported it from Japan to Canada through Brave Auto International which is a known exporter of clean, high grade cars. Although this car was not sourced through the Japanese auctions, it would of been graded at least a 4.5/B if it had of went through the auction. When I bought it, it had 67,XXX original kilometres.
From 2010-2011 I drove it in the summer half of the year and stored it in my garage when not in use and in the winter. In the fall of 2011, it had 86,XXX km and I decided to put it into heated, dry storage as life got in the way of my plans for it.
From 2011 until present day it has been in heated, dry storage (garage) and twice a year I permit it for a day, put fresh fuel in it, and take it for a spin.
The car is 99% completely stock right down to the original intake, exhaust, etc. The only items that are not a factory original part on the car is the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel, and the aftermarket plug and play LED headlight kit.
The exterior has received about 35-40 hours of detail work including a full paint correction and protection and is almost completely flawless with the exception of some small minor stone chips that have been touched up mostly on the side skirts and a very small area of repair on the front lip.
The interior has received a full seats out detail which took about 25-30 hours start to finish (even though it was almost perfect to begin with) and is also almost flawless with the exception of a bit of wear on the drivers seat bolster, and the shift knob could use a refurbish or replacement depending how picky you are.
All in all it is probably one of the cleanest, non molested, non restored early evos (1-3) in the world.
I hope the buyer of this car puts it in a museum, keeps it original and well looked after with minimal driving/kilometres, or does a nice clean build on it.
If you are looking for a car to take to the track, use as a winter car, rally it, or otherwise neglect, there are a few early evos that are lower grade cars that can be imported for significantly cheaper which might be a better option.
Viewings will be on non rainy days as I do not take it out in the rain and if you want to go on a test drive, you buy the permit and I drive it. If you want to drive it, then you’ll need to have cash in hand and ready to buy.
