1965 Chevelle Malibu SS

This is an original Chevelle SS originally purchased at Dueck Motors on Broadway Vancouver (comes with GM heritage letter of certification). The car came off the showroom floor as a 6 cylinder 2-speed automatic. It now sports a high-performance 350 4 bolt main and a 5-speed manual transmission with a Lakewood scatter shield. A new Edelbrock high-flow fuel pump was installed.

The car was previously owned by a mechanic for the last 30 years who did a considerable amount of work on this car and kept it stored in a garage. There are over $15,000 in receipts (excluding labor) which includes the following:

• Complete engine rebuild with new 750 cfm Quick Fuel carburetor, air flow intake, new Edelbrock aluminum heads, roller rockers, street cam, forged pistons, and more
• Gas tank and sending unit replacement
• Conversion to power four-way disc brakes
• New HEI distributor installed
• New 5-speed Richmond transmission and driveshaft
• New clutch
• New positrac rear end
• New exhaust system

This car is very solid and clean underneath and trunk area. The paint job is old but presentable, but the hood could use a repaint. The interior is original with seat covers in surprisingly good condition. It has a new under dash wiring harness, custom autosound AM-FM stereo with rear speakers, and comes with the original sales brochure.

The car sounds nice, rides well, and corners as you would expect from a classic Chevelle SS. The front end is tight with a heavy-duty sway bar, and the rear lower trailing arms have been boxed in.

Complete engine rebuild with new 750 cfm quick fuel car, air flow intake, new edelbrock aluminum heads, roller rockers, street cam, forged pistons and much more. The gas tank and sending unit were also replaced. The car has been converted to power four way disc brakes so it has nice braking response. The Malibu sits on a set of nice whitewall tires with 90-95 % tread remaining and comes with the original SS hubcaps that are in mint condition.. A new HEI distributor was installed in October /2023.
The 5 speed Richmond transmission ( $3000) was purchased from summit racing and is a nice upgrade together with a new driveshaft. The car has also received a new clutch. The positrac rear end is a 3.10 bought new from lordco parts.

The car has had a new under dash wiring harness ( from Bowtie Langley) recently installed and a custom autosound am-fm stereo with rear speakers. The dash is nice…no cracks. It comes with the original sales brochure of the car when purchased.
The car sounds nice and rides and corners as you would expect. The front end is tight and the heavey duty sway bar helps keep thing tight and on track. The rear lower trailing arms have been boxed in and also has new exhaust system as well.
