For Sale: 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS
Introducing a meticulously maintained 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS, a luxury SUV that defines performance and elegance. When I purchased this vehicle a couple of years ago, it was, without a doubt, the most pristine GTS available in the country. Today, I can confidently say it remains in remarkable condition. This extraordinary model was originally equipped with every conceivable factory option, except for the panoramic roof and the rear door sun shades, both of which were omitted for the unique GTS interior package.
What Sets the GTS Apart?
The Cayenne GTS is not your typical SUV. It is engineered for those who value performance combined with luxury. The GTS model includes standard features such as:
- Sport Chrono Package
- Sport Exhaust System
- Wider performance tires
- Tighter gearing
- Lowered and specialized air suspension
This performance-oriented vehicle also boasts an exclusive body kit that gives it a striking aesthetic, akin to the Turbo models. The Turbo’s wider grille, unique ground effects package, and blacked-out trim and headlights significantly enhance its visual appeal.
Rarely Seen High-Value Options
This specific Cayenne GTS is equipped with a suite of rare options that are seldom found on a single vehicle. These include:
- Radar Adaptive Cruise Control
- Burmester High-End Surround Sound System
- PTV+ (Porsche Torque Vectoring)
- Unique GTS interior package in stunning Carmine Red
- Rear Climate Control Panel for passenger comfort
- Instrument dials in Guards Red
- Anthracite Birch extended interior package
- Porsche Entry & Drive system
Additionally, this vehicle includes an original key fob in Carmine Red, showcasing its unique specifications.
Impeccable Maintenance Record
With 129,000 highway miles, the Cayenne GTS has aged remarkably well. I drive about 60 miles daily, but due to its exceptional condition and high-spec options, I believe this vehicle has been lovingly cared for by enthusiasts since its inception. Key maintenance and service records include:
Service History:
- 10/03/24 – 127,600 miles: Four New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Tires – $1,890.39
- 09/10/24 – 127,000 miles: Full Clay Bar and Detail – $384.37
- 07/08/24 – 125,735 miles: Engine Oil and Transfer Case Fluid Change – $442.96
- 10/17/23 – 119,036 miles: Multiple fluid changes – $1,700.85
- 10/06/23 – 118,900 miles: Tire balancing and rotation – $64
- 09/22/23 – 118,350 miles: Engine air filters replaced – $175
- 05/09/23 – 114,000 miles: Transfer case replaced and battery service
- 03/10/23 – 113,902 miles: Oil change and brake pad replacements
Transparency on Flaws
While the Cayenne GTS is in excellent condition, I believe in full transparency regarding any minor flaws:
- Less than 1000 miles on premium tires
- Some curb rash on the wheels
- Original clear bra is lifting slightly at edges
- Minimal rock chips on the front
- Rear passenger door may need actuator service
- Minor wear on the driver’s seat bolster
- Light superficial scratches on the exterior
Unmatched Daily Driver Experience
This 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS has been my favorite daily driver, outclassing all others I have owned from luxury brands like Porsche, Mercedes, and Lexus. It is the ultimate all-rounder, offering:
- Supreme comfort for both short trips and long journeys
- Unmatched audio quality from the Burmester system
- Excellent gas mileage, achieving over 20mpg on the highway
With radar cruise control, navigating stop-and-go traffic becomes effortless, allowing the vehicle to assume the driving duties with minimal driver input. Performance is not compromised either; the GTS handles corners with agility, making it feel more like a sports car than an SUV. The exhilarating V8 engine produces a soundtrack that gives joy with every acceleration.
The Ideal Buyer
As I transition to a new daily driver, I hope to find a like-minded enthusiast who will appreciate and care for this exceptional vehicle. While there are cheaper GTS models on the market, none can compare to the unique options, condition, and performance of this specific vehicle.

San Diego
For sale is my 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS. When I bought this car a couple years ago, it was the nicest one for sale in the country. I believe it is again today. This launch car came from the factory with every option you could tick at the time, except for the panoramic roof (which commonly leaks) and the rear door sun shades (which you could not get when you selected the special GTS interior package this car has.)
This is not your mom’s base cayenne. The GTS model adds every performance option as standard (such as Sport Chrono, Sport Exhaust, wider tires, tighter gearing, a lower and more performance-oriented version of the air suspension, etc) and a special body kit for the entire exterior using the Turbo’s wider grill, a ground effects package which helps the stance and aesthetic of the car (which can only be optioned on a Turbo S), including blacked out trim and headlights throughout the exterior.
This specific car adds a load of extremely rare and high value options that I have never again seen combined on a single car- while some may have one or two, they never have all at once:
– Radar Adaptive Cruise Control
– Burmester High End Surround Sound (worlds better and more expensive than the Bose option)
– PTV+ which helps the car handle like a 911
– GTS interior package in Carmine Red to match the exterior
– Rear Climate Control Panel (so that rear seat occupants can control the climate)
– Instrument dials in Guards Red
– Anthracite Birch extended interior package (gets rid of the cheap plastic on most cars)
– Porsche Entry & Drive (so you don’t have to take the key out of pocket)
The original owner of the car specced it so highly, it even comes with an original key fob optioned in Carmine Red. I have a spare original key as well.
This car has held up incredibly well for its age and now shows 129,000 exclusively highway miles. I drive about 60 miles a day to and from work, so that does add up. Because of its incredible shape, and extremely high option spec, I know this car was only ever owned by enthusiasts and no expense has been spared in keeping it pristine. The full leather dashboard is in absolutely perfect shape and shows no signs of peeling or glue failure- a common problem on the full leather cars. When I bought the car from a dealer, they had just replaced the Transfer case, Front differential, battery, and brakes. All extremely expensive to replace, and done now for complete peace of mind! I also completed the following work after that under my ownership for even more peace of mind:
Service History:
– 10/03/24 127,600 4 New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Tires $1,890.39
– 09/10/24 127,000 Full Clay Bar and Detail from One of One San Diego $384.37
– 07/08/24 125,735 Replaced Engine Oil and Transfer Case Fluid $442.96 Dennis Sherman
– 10/17/23 119,036 Replaced front and rear Diff fluid, Transfer case fluid, transmission fluid, Engine Oil, and flushed coolant.$1,700.85 Dennis Sherman
– 10/06/23 118,900 All 4 tires balanced and cross rotated $64
– 09/22/23 118,350 Stock engine air filters replaced with BMC high flow filters $175
– 05/09/23 114,000 Transfer case replaced and fluid, front differential replaced, new battery
– 03/10/23 113,902 Oil Change, transfer case fluid, new brake pads front and rear
Flaws on the vehicle are minimal, but disclosed here for clarity:
– Less than 1000 miles on the best tires you can buy for the car (not much of a flaw)
– Some curb rash on wheels
– The original clear bra that covers the entire front of the car (front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, headlights) is in good shape but has started to slightly come up on some edges- not noticeable unless a foot away from the car.
– Rock chips on the front are also minimal thanks to the clear bra, but some made their way through over the years.
– The rear passenger door stays locked unless opened from the inside, may need a new actuator- I just kept it locked and only ever used the rear driver side door if I needed to enter the backseat for something, I have never had someone in the back seat so not annoying enough.
– The driver seat has the earliest sign of wear on the mighty bolster you have to rub over to get in and out of the car- the rest of the interior is a legitimate 10/10
– Very light hairline scratches here and there around the exterior, either from a passerby wearing jeans or detailing mishaps- nothing that wouldn’t come out with a paint correction.
I have owned many cars over the years, including some of the best from Porsche, Mercedes, Lexus, and others, but this car takes the crown for the best daily driver I have ever owned. If there was one car that could do it all, its this one. It is extremely comfortable to drive long distances or short, the audio quality from the upgraded Burmester system is literally unmatched as the best in the automotive industry, and I even break 20mpg on the highway cruising 70-80 with the Radar Cruise on- which also makes traffic a breeze as it literally drives for you in stop and go, just need to keep it in the lane. The other edge of the sword is the performance- which this has plenty. The 295 wide tires and special GTS air suspension make this SUV handle like the best of their sports cars, and the transmission shifts effortlessly and efficiently like new. The Sport Exhaust is one of the best V8 notes I have ever heard, with crackles and pops if you are on it, or tame and subdued if you have it off. The GTS also has intake tubes routed into the cabin so you can hear the induction of that 420hp V8 under heavy throttle, which just adds to the drama and smiles per mile.
I hate to see this car go, but I’m picking up a new daily soon and have too many cars to shuffle around. I would love to see it go to a like minded enthusiast that will continue to care for and appreciate it, and it will take care of you. Yes, there are cheaper GTS models for sale out there, but absolutely none for sale are like this one. Thank you for your interest in this fine vehicle, and for taking the time to read this ridiculously long ad! No test drives unless cash in hand, will not respond to “is this available”. Here is the link to one similar GTS that came close to this one that just sold in November, but this car STILL has more options ticked (except the ridiculously expensive to replace Carbon Ceramic Brakes). https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2013-porsche-cayenne-gts-57/?utm_source=dm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2024-11-19
