• Miles 95,255 (no reason at all to believe not original, but *TMU). Miles change bc it gets driven
• New Oil and oil filter in July of 2024. New coolant in July of 2024.
• Transmission rebuilt in May 2020 (at mileage 91,507)
• New Edelbrock intake manifold installed in early 2021
• New Edelbrock (1406) 4bl Carb installed in early 2021
• K&N Air Filter
• Bosch Tach
• Bosch Aftermarket Gauges: voltage, temp, and oil pressure
• New: Starter (Aug 21’), Starter relay (20’), Battery (21’), Washer Pump (21’), spark plugs (20’), Timing chain (20’), engine was rebuilt/opened up in 2017 with previous owner, rebuilt brake booster (20’), likely some more smaller things
• All electrical works: lights, signals, horn, windshield wipers and pump
• Windows all open/crank, locks all work
• Dual Exhaust rumbles and sounds “reeeeeal nice, Clark”
• All instruments and gauges work (speedo flutters a bit at low speed but settles down), except for the original dash clock
• Temp is always good and never goes high, even on highway
• Drum brakes on all four. I assumed I’d do the disc brake conversion on front, but the drums never bothered me/I got used to it.
• AC/Heat Car, but it isn’t connected. Comes with the compressor but it needs rebuilt. I’ve never needed here on the central coast
• Comes with original wheels and hubcaps
• What it’s missing: 1) passenger side heat/cooling vent (door side) 2) the 500 model trim there and for across the glovebox 3) front 500 emblem
• Original Radio does not work (no radio in it now. I like hearing the car)
• Comes with a car cover.
• Registration current through Nov 2025/CA Black Plate
• Clean title ready


*I’ll likely put new tires on it soon. They have plenty of tread, but just have some cracking at the edges. That way the new buyer doesn’t need to worry about it*

It’s not perfect by any means. You won’t win any car shows. It’s driven and on freeway so there will be some small knicks and chips, etc. But paint job and color and set up makes it look great still. You can drive it to the car show, but you won’t win. But it looks cool, is fun, and most importantly…it’s ready to go. Nothing to do first before you have a weekend (or daily if you want) car. Just get in and go.

I sort of just came into possession of this. Wasn’t really looking for it. I normally keep to motorcycles, but thought it would be fun to have a vintage muscle car for a while/improve it. I’m not at expert, but competent. Any work performed by me was then checked by local vintage mechanic. Anything else done by him. He jokes that I’ve done something wrong because it doesn’t leak and all Ford’s leak.

Car is located in Santa Barbara, CA. Depending on where you live, you can drive it home or trailer. I have no reason to believe it wouldn’t make it far distance, but as it goes, your own choice. I drive it to Ventura/Oxnard, up to Santa Ynez and have no issues. Be an out of town buyer. I don’t want to see it in my area and have sellers remorse.

Why the pricing? Hard to find these in this configuration/don’t see them often. Only this body style for two years. Based on Hagerty value (see pic). And you’ve seen how pricing is going up and up these days with classics. The trucks are going for crazy money. Car/Trucks the next high dollar trend??
You can find these show quality stock for $35K and up. Yes, you might find one cheaper in Georgia. I get it. But you have to go to Georgia. It’s generally hard to find these around though. Not impossible. But not falling off trees out there. I’m listing at the Hagerty Price, then you can offer me from there.
