2003 Honda Accord LX for $0 Build Credit, Poor Credit, Bad Credit, Good Credit OK OAC
Selling My Beige/Gold Coloured 2003 Honda Accord LX
I hate to see her go, but I’ve recently bought a new vehicle and I no longer need this reliable sedan. My 2003 Honda Accord LX comes with a 2.4L 4 Cylinder VTEC engine, automatic transmission, and has driven 295,000 kilometres. This car has been a loyal companion and has served me well over the years.
The Good
- Runs well and starts every time.
- Great fuel economy.
- Four brand new winter tires (valued at $1000).
- New alternator.
- New starter.
- New intake boot.
- Brakes are good.
- New front bumper has been replaced.
- Regular oil changes have been maintained.
- Currently insured, so you can take her for a test drive.
- Will be professionally detailed.
The Not So Great
- Cruise control doesn’t work.
- A/C doesn’t work but can be fixed with a new radiator.
- The stereo fuse was removed due to battery issues, but the car runs fine without it (I use a Bluetooth speaker).
- Lamps need to be replaced; I have a set of low beams included but would recommend new high beams as well.
- Windshield has a few pits from flying rocks and debris.
- Oil consumption can be a factor, typical for older Hondas, especially in winter.
- There’s a crack in the rear bumper, which can be replaced.
- Needs a new sway bar link kit, for which I’ve obtained a quote of approximately $270.
I would love to see this car go to a good home. It drives really smooth and is super fun to drive. The vehicle would be a great option for a first-time buyer, student, or anyone in search of a budget-friendly commuter or hobbyist vehicle. Over the last two years, I haven’t encountered any major issues, and I believe there’s still a lot of life left in this Honda Accord if properly cared for.
