Your 2016 Honda Civic EX-T: An Overview
Your Honda Civic EX-T offers a fantastic driving experience, boasting a turbocharged engine, good fuel efficiency, and a sleek silver color. With 102,890 miles, it still has plenty of life left. Picking it up with 20k miles back in 2017 speaks volumes about its reliability, but it is important to be transparent with potential buyers about the vehicle’s history, particularly since it has a salvage title. However, rest assured that this vehicle has no frame damage—an important factor that adds to its safety and resale value.
Vehicle Condition and Selling Points
While every car has its quirks, your Civic has several strong selling points:
- Great Driving Experience: The Civic’s turbo engine offers a blend of power and efficiency.
- Low Mileage for Its Year: At 102,890 miles, it’s in the sweet spot for long-term reliability.
- Affordable Pricing: At an asking price of $9,500 or best offer, this car is competitively priced.
- No Frame Damage: A salvage title may deter some buyers, but since there’s no frame damage, the vehicle is still safe and solid.
The primary issues to divulge are cosmetic: you noted the paint on the hood and the driver seat airbag issues. However, the fact that there are no dash warning lights related to the airbags can alleviate some buyer concerns.
The Benefits of Selling Your Vehicle
Selling your current vehicle can unlock a host of opportunities for you:
- Financial Flexibility: The money you gain from selling can be put into savings, other investments, or a down payment for another vehicle.
- Upgrade Potential: Selling your Civic could allow you to purchase a newer or more reliable vehicle, especially if you’re using associated financing options to bridge the gap.
- Clear Your Garage: A sale might help you declutter, making room for fresh possibilities.

I’m looking to sell my 2016 honda civic ex-t (turbo, stock). This is a great driving car with 102,890 miles. I picked this car up in 2017 with 20k miles with a salvage title. No frame damage. Color is silver asking $9,500 OBO. Only issue is paint on hood. New update ac stopped working honda will not service the recall on ac due to salvage title. Also issue with driver seat air bag BUT no dash lights on about airbags. Car drives great and we still drive it.
