Reviving a Classic: 2010 Nissan 370Z Modifications and Financing Options
Introduction
The 2010 Nissan 370Z, a vehicle celebrated for its performance and iconic design, has a fascinating story to tell. As the fourth owner of this car, I’ve witnessed firsthand the evolution of this beauty, each owner leaving their mark—literally and figuratively. From a garage-kept first owner to my own extensive modifications, the 370Z continues to impress in both aesthetics and driving experience. But beyond the car itself, potential buyers often face challenges in securing financing, especially with varying credit backgrounds. AllCreditAuto.Loan offers a variety of solutions to help enthusiasts achieve their automotive dreams.
The Journey of My 370Z
The journey of my 370Z has been unique and enriching. Here’s a brief overview of its prior owners and my journey:
- First Owner: The first owner took excellent care of the vehicle, keeping it tucked away in a garage, preserving its initial allure.
- Second Owner: A dealership acquired the vehicle next, typically driven with a focus on resale value.
- Third Owner: The third owner was an older gentleman who cherished weekend drives with the top down. This love for leisurely drives, however, led to some wear on the convertible top, causing it to rot and mold.
As the fourth owner, I recognized the vehicle’s potential and decided to invest in it. The first significant step was replacing the damaged soft top with a brand new one, along with updating the mechanism to the more efficient 2012 model. This upgrade has not only improved functionality but also enhanced the overall appearance of my 370Z.
List of Modifications
Owning this Z has been a thrilling adventure, leading me to perform various modifications. Here’s a comprehensive list:
- Z1 Cold Air Intake: Installed to combat summer heat, this modification allows for a more efficient air intake, enhancing performance.
- Mishimoto Oil Cooler: This oil cooler was added to maintain optimum temperatures even during those hot summer drives.
- Nvidia Gemini Exhaust: Chosen for its incredible sound and performance without the annoying drone that comes with many aftermarket systems.
- Morimoto Headlights: Upgraded headlights for improved visibility and a sleek aesthetic.
- Carbon Fiber Hood: Though it doesn’t significantly reduce weight, it provides exceptional ventilation for better heat dissipation.
- Carbon Fiber Rear Wing: A noticeable upgrade that not only adds style but also improves aerodynamics, especially at speeds over 60 mph.
- Paint Correction (2024): Addressed chips on the front bumper and restored the faded carbon fiber finish on the hood.
- Modern Head Unit: Installed a new audio system that connects via Bluetooth for seamless music enjoyment.
- Custom Fit Subwoofer: This unique fiberglass subwoofer enhances audio quality and is one-of-a-kind.
- Computer Tune: The vehicle has been tuned to deliver 310hp on hot days and 325hp on cooler days, ensuring exhilarating performance.

I am the 4th owner, 1st owner kept it in a garage and second owner was a dealership. Third owner was an older guy who kept it garaged except on weekends to drive it with the top down. That resulted in the fabric for the top rotting/molding. I have put on a brand new top and updated the mechanism to the 2012 mechanism.
