Affordable 2003 Honda Civic – A Solid Investment!

Vehicle Overview

Mileage: 149,384 miles

This 2003 Honda Civic has been a reliable vehicle and is ready to serve its next owner well. It drives great, has only had one owner, and has been cared for with a dependable Honda engine.

Condition of the Vehicle

While there are some cosmetic imperfections, the vehicle remains mechanically sound. Here’s a summary of its condition:

  • Single Owner: Originally owned by a careful driver with deep ties to the vehicle.
  • Salvaged Title: The vehicle was in a minor fender bender with only body damage. The insurance opted for a salvaged title rather than making repairs.
  • Mechanical Integrity: The car runs well and does not have any significant mechanical issues.
  • Power Doors: These do not function currently.
  • Emergency Brake Light: Remains illuminated without a clear cause.
  • Minor Roof Leak: There is a slight leak, though it rarely occurs.
  • Body Work: There’s a dent on the side panel, and a touch-up has been done with paint that does not match, resulting in some visible marks.

Considering the great driving experience and the Honda reliability, this car could sell for around $5,000 – $6,000 in better shape. This reduced price provides a great opportunity to cover any necessary repairs or simply enjoy driving it as is!

Drives great. Single owner.
Was in a fender bender and the only damage was to the body but insurance gave it a salvaged title rather than pay to fix it.
It’s mechanically very sound, but the power doors don’t work and the emergency break light is always on for some reason.
The roof leaks slightly (and rarely) in the front center.
The side panel is still dented, as you can see.
A bodywork place did a “touch up” with paint that doesn’t match so there are little silver marks on it, as shown in the photos.
And, with all that, it’s still a great car with a Honda engine. Sells for $5 – 6K in better shape. The lower sale price should well cover repairs. Or just drive it as is!
My ex-mother-in-law who owns it is 92 and giving up driving. (She’s the original owner.)
