We’re retired Lexus senior’s selling our lovely and amazing local BC luxury sedan which is finished in a brilliant bright red pearl metallic paint and complimented with a gorgeous black leather interior. It has a clean status, and is not a rebuild.

This car has given us no problems and has been so incredibly reliable and so smooth to drive. The only reason for selling it, is to get a newer Lexus. We’ve absolutely loved this car, which I reckon will be our forever brand

We were advised that we’d get even better fuel economy if we added a stage 3 Thorton performance chip and a K&N Typhoon cold air induction intake (even better sounding than a GS 350 F Sport Lexus)


It worked, we did in fact get noticeably improved fuel economy, however, I can’t emphasize enough how blown away we both were to also have this unexpected massive power increase that was unleashed by installing these 2 subtle performance mods

Simply put, and we’re not complaining, we unexpectedly turned our lovely luxury car into an incredibly powerful beast causing it to become so much faster, so superbly responsive and with a really nice deeply impressive throatier roar under acceleration.

Our car’s power has been elevated from the stock 303 horsepower to a mind numbing 380 horsepower. It’s like night and day and just so much more enjoyable to drive

Aside from these interesting cool upgrades, our car is still relatively quiet and totally stock appearing until you go to accelerate, then it instantly comes alive. At about 2500 rpm you start getting a noticeable growl culminating into a ferocious roar as you accelerate

Anyway moving forward, here’s what I know about Lexus, it’s from Toyota’s performance luxury branch, and is engineered to be capable of lasting well beyond 400,000 kms and is also legendarily renown for having historical reliability

A stock 2008 Lexus GS 350 comes from the factory with a naturally aspirated 3.5 liter, 24 valve DOHC 6 cylinder motor putting out an impressive 303 horsepower with 274 foot pounds of torque at 6200 rpm. and is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission.

These cars are rated to accelerate from 0 to 60 in an impressive 5.6 seconds and tear through the quarter mile in just 14.1 seconds. It has a high end top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph).

Ours will obviously be much faster than rated

This car has fairly near new brakes front/rear and recent brand new next 2 sizes up tires all around (Michelin Pilot Sport 245/45ZX 17 tires) for a more aggressive look. Other new miscellaneous parts I’ve had installed or acquired include…
