2006 Sprinter van with 360k kilometres on it. 2.7L diesel, automatic transmission. Bought it to convert into camper van. Absolutely love it, but it is a project. I did most of the rust repairs as seen in some pictures and touched up with paint. Repairs were done properly with rust removal and welding new steel in place. Not done with a quick bondo job or rock guard like most to cover the rust. It’s not perfect but looks very respectable. Many hours put into the repairs. The steel was replaced with a much thicker grade than the original. I planned on keeping it for a very long time. Started the rust repairs around 2 yrs ago and no rust has shown through since in the repaired areas. The rockers are mostly solid but could use a going over in the future.

Mechanically. It runs beautifully but unfortunately, it needs a head gasket as there is exhaust pressure building up in the cooling system. No water in the oil. I have the head gasket set and associated parts to go with it. Also has a slow shift between 2nd and 3rd gear. Symptoms have been diagnosed and have the part to repair it as well. It’s the conductor plate. Very common on these. Just need to drop the pan to replace the part. Park brake not working. Once done it’ll be in excellent running condition. Someone willing to spend the time will have an amazing van.

I put in a new fan clutch, water pump, rad flush, coolant, front windshield, the previous owner just replaced the alternator and radiator.

I left the plastics and bumper off for inspection. Can put back if need be or the buyer can do so.
