2007 4WD Rav4 Limited Edition. MAJOR GAS SAVER! Low mileage, 4-cylindre, 4-wheel drive. New battery, wipers, spark plugs, alternator, serpentine belt, cabin air filter, brake fluid, air fuel sensor, and a recent oil change. Power windows and sunroof. Good speakers. Decent tires (see photo of document showing good tread depth). The photos of the document I got from Sun Country Toyota from January 2024 shows what great condition she is in. I recently deep cleaned with rug doctor stain remover, so the seats are looking good. As shown in the pictures, there is a great extra storage compartment that extends the space in the trunk. Very cheap on gas, costs about $75 to fill up and lasts for 2-3 weeks driving around town. I can get to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal on the Coquihalla without stopping for gas once. It has great power and can easily get up to speed. It feels nimble and easy to drive as the wheel and pedal both take a light touch so it’s a fun SUV to take on road trips. I was able to camp and sleep in it this summer as the seats can fold down. I’ve used the 4WD a couple times just to try it out but have been impressed that on regular mode it can power through without even using 4WD.
Many RAVs get above 400,000 kms and this one is at 190,000 km so she has plenty of life left in her!
The advantage to having a senior own the car from 2007 to 2023 is that while there were some scratches, the mileage is very low. The previous owner was a senior who had some minor incidents of scratching various panels in her driveway before giving up driving, so there are a number of minor collision claims on the ICBC history. The ICBC build status is normal (clean) as these were all cosmetic claims. She had most panels which she scratched fixed and repainted over the years of owning it (so most of the paint is newer) but when I bought it, it had two small marks by the gas tank and back door handle and some marks on the front right panel next to the hood and a large scratch to the lower back left door. I have since fixed theses areas with anti-rust primer and colour matched paint from Lordco. I included pictures of all the cosmetic repair jobs I did in these photos.
Otherwise the car is in great condition. No rust to the body. Runs very well. Anytime there’s a repair it is cheap to fix. I’ve never had any RAV4 cost me a large amount of money unexpectedly which is why I will always be loyal to Toyota. I am moving across the country or I would have kept this car forever. I have a windshield broom/ice scraper, a bottle of oil, a bottle of windshield wiper fluid, an emergency kit, some colour matched paint, a steering wheel cover, and an FM radio transmitter and aux cord which I will include with the sale.
