I am the second owner since 2011. Currently, I’m driving the car from the East Coast to Los Angeles, and it is now in Las Vegas. I need to sell it on Thursday or Friday, the 19th-20th of December, before I fly out; otherwise, it will be taken to a scrapyard, which would be a pity as it is so reliable and in good running condition. I have just driven from Connecticut to Las Vegas without any problems.
The Good

- Trunk and rear quarters were damaged in a parking lot accident. The trunk closes and locks, and there are two new tail lights, but the panels are damaged.
- One cracked fog light lens
- Typical rust in the pocket behind front wheels, treated but not replaced (common issue)
- A little bit of rust on the outside of the rear arches; otherwise, it’s very solid, not your typical East Coast rust bucket.
- Computer not working
- A/C is not cold; likely needs new seals and regas (compressor works but isn’t cold)
- Typical cam cover oil leak
- Usual E36 door trims problems (I stripped the shrunken vinyl off them and color matched them)
- Passenger side mirror cover is cracked

typical rust in the pocket behind front wheels, has been cut out and treated, not replaced as not structural, but very common as dirt builds up behind plastic wheel well covers. little bit of rust on outside of rear arches other than that very solid, not your typical East coast rust bucket.
