Introducing the 2010 Toyota Tundra SR5
Are you ready to set off on thrilling new adventures in 2025? The 2010 Toyota Tundra SR5 may just be the perfect companion for your explorations! As the second owner of this impressive vehicle, I can personally attest to its capabilities and its readiness to take you off the beaten path.
Power and Performance
One of the standout features of this Tundra is its robust engine. The original engine was replaced in November, and a rebuilt long block was installed, which includes a transferable warranty valid until November 2025. With only 2,261 miles on the new engine since its replacement at 123,558 miles, this vehicle is primed for many more miles of adventure.
The engine replacement involved installing Toyota parts and breaking it in with high-quality Lucas 5/20 break-in oil. Following that, I switched to full synthetic 5/20 motor oil, ensuring this truck runs smoothly. All necessary routine maintenance was performed when the engine was replaced, including:
- New oil and water pumps
- Motor mounts
- Flywheel and torque converter hardware
- Gaskets and seals
- Transmission service with a new filter kit and fluid
Off-Road Ready Features
This Tundra is not only roadworthy; it’s engineered for off-road adventures! Here are some enhancements that make it an excellent choice for exploration enthusiasts:
- ProComp 6″ lift for improved clearance
- ARB onboard air compressor
- ARB Rear Locker (with front locker plumbing, installation needed)
- Dual AGM batteries with automatic switching
- Ramsey 8500 lbs winch with nylon rope
- 4.30:1 Factory Gear ratio for tackling tough terrain
- 38 GAL Toyota Tank upgrade for extended travels
- 35x12x18 Nitto Mud Grapplers for aggressive traction
- 18″ XD Wheels for style and performance
- Expedition One Front and Rear Bumpers for added durability
- Expedition One dual swing out rear carriers for added storage
- Soft Top camper for comfortable camping excursions
- Bed Rug installed for protection and utility
Condition and Considerations
While this Toyota Tundra is ready for adventure, it does have some cosmetic wear and tear, including:
- Pin stripes, small dents, and peeling clear coat from off-road usage
- Some wear marks on the right rear door panel
- Leaking front struts needing possible re-sealing or replacement
- TPMS light is active, issue not yet diagnosed
I have receipts for all work and options installed on the vehicle from both myself and the previous owner. Spare parts, including a front locker assembly and more, will also be included in the sale. This Tundra is truly ready for someone new to build their own adventures!
