It absolutely pains me to sell my E30, but I just took on a 3.0CS E9 project that needs attention.

The Car: A Brief Overview

This is a Bronzit Beige on Beige natural leather (NOT vinyl) 325i E30 Automatic. This E30 seems to be FULLY loaded with every option including the 13-button OBC, mirror reading lamps, full leather interior, rear headrests, rear armrest, leather 3-spoke sport steering wheel, and premium audio! The previous owners seem to have added a car telephone as well. Bought new locally in Weatherford Berkeley in 1988, this car has stayed in the Bay Area ever since.

Ownership History

I believe this car has had 3 prior owners to me, and they loved the car. It is completely rust-free and seems to have always been garaged since there aren’t any signs of clearcoat failure. The paint meter shows around 2.5-3.5 mils thickness all around, with no signs of it being repaired. There are a couple of minor dents on the body and some rock chips, but otherwise, it’s very clean.

Condition and Maintenance

One of the most impressive features is that the dash is completely crack-free. There’s also a full toolkit in the trunk along with all the trunk carpeting. The glass is all original and hasn’t been replaced, with weather seals that are still very soft and show no signs of cracking.

Electronics

All the electronics work as they should. Yes, the OBC display, radio, windows, power mirrors, wipers, sunroof, AND cruise control ALL WORK. As my 4th E30, I am fairly familiar with these cars, and this is by far the best example I have owned (or will possibly ever own).

Upgrades and Maintenance Performed

I have owned the car for almost 2 years now and haven’t had much time to drive it since I have many other project cars to attend to. Under my ownership, I have completed several maintenance items:

• Timing belt and water pump
• Accessory belts
• Coolant flush
• Alignment (after steering rack install)
• New air filter
• A/C R12 recharge (will need some more as I ran out)
• Full ceramic coating on the car (windows and wheels as well)
• 70% ceramic tinting all around (with dash mat to protect the crack-free dash)

Modifications

These are the only modifications that I have performed on the car:

• Authentic Hartge Type C 3-piece welded 15″ wheels (will come with OEM 14″ basketweaves)
• H&R Sport lowering springs
• Bilstein B6 shocks
• 89+ plastic front bumper conversion (have all the original diving boards)
• 4cyl 1.9L Z3 steering rack (shortest steering rack you can get for these)

Driving Experience and Ideal Use

This E30 is prime for a 5-speed G260 swap (or any manual swap for that matter) or can be utilized as a traffic city commuter car. It will come with all the booklets and some spare parts that I have lying around as well.
