Just in time for the warm weather – get behind the wheel of this fun-to-drive, classic chrome-bumper 1966 MGB MK1 roadster!

Has a lot of ‘personality’ as is an older, manual 4 speed roadster w/ SU carbs – the reason I bought it! Not a show winner but runs, drives, stops, steers, shifts ok and with some tlc can be improved. Perfect for just enjoying it as-is or as a great starting point for a fun fix-up or larger restoration project.

Chrome is in good condition and includes a rear boot baggage carrier rack (was removed but is included), and an installed new wood-handled steering wheel. Includes the original set of knock off spoked wire wheels with absolutely new tires and tubes installed, along with a new battery. This does not have a hardtop included (as seen in pics) as was sold, but includes a brand new, not-yet-installed zippable tonneau cover kit.

INCL $1K+ BRAND NEW PARTS! – Along with the tonneau I have purchased a bunch of new parts for it – some are already installed: Motolita-style Chrome/wood Steering Wheel and correct Hub Adapter, Chrome Bullet Mirrors, Voltage Stabilizer, misc Fuses, Stabilizer, Firewall Plug, T-handle Choke cable, Speedo Cable, Wiper Blades, Pedal Pad, Brake Pad Fitting Kit, Boot Seal, Vent Window Seals, Radiator To Hood Seal, Vent To Door Seals, Door Glass Seals, Brake Pads, Throttle Cable, Fan Belt, Steering Column Bush, etc.

Also… I will throw in the Simoniz Platinum deluxe car cover I’ve been using for the MG – originally purchased for $200, the good one!

I pulled the interior vinyl (door) panels to use them as templates the get the door cards rebuilt, so they’re not installed currently, will be included.

Currently not insured, but has recently been fired up and is running same as before – just needs some basic cleanup, tuning, some to-dos to do and tlc.

Had intended to swap out a fresh rack and pinion, get at some basic bodywork, interior panels and eventually a sports exhaust, maybe some fresh paint… had plans to one day perform a restoration.

Why am I selling? Another car project has taken priority and simply don’t have the physical space or time to take the MGB further any time soon. I love it to bits but it needs a better home.
