Here is the backstory. I purchased this car from my uncle’s friend who owns a collision repair shop. The single (one-owner) original owner of this car was in an accident. I was told it was a fender-bender but in process of trying to sell this car, I found out it was actually deemed a salvage vehicle . I’ve been told that carfax has its history down as a salvage. The free online service I used said it was not. And that collision shop owner sold the car to me and pass the title to me as “clean .” In short, he got brought the car in from the original owner and pursued to rebuild it as he did. By the time I got the car he had told me the battery had been replaced. And due to some electrical damage to the dash, the odometer numbers get adjusted which I heard this is normal. And by the time I started to drive it one cylinder was misfiring so I had them all replaced and worked on because once one goes..rest follows. I was told this car has a good 100k in her. My uncle got finessed ..we got finessed by this so called friend. That’s all I can say about that. I’m trying to be transparent as possible. Salvage or not. It’s been rebuilt. No check engines. The car runs like a dream. So I am selling for 4k cash. Thanks for your time. The man could’ve just told us he rebuilt a salvage. But that would mean he wouldn’t profit or recoup his investment.
